My Savior is my First Love and the Lover of my soul; I try to be a reflection of Him in all I do. I have an absolutely spectacular family, they are so supportive of me and are there by my side through it all. The Lord has blessed me tremendously with an incredible group of friends, I am blessed to be held accountable and encouraged by such genuniely good, Christ-loving people. My heart lies in a tiny community in Jamaica, for I have fallen in love with the people of Bamboo. My heart aches every day of the year that I am not with them, I miss their beautiful faces and loving spirits. Photography is a passion of mine and I am a firm believer in the old adage that a picture paints a thousand words. You won’t ever find me without my camera, it’ll be with me for the rest of my life. Music is how I express myself, whether it is listening to it with my ears, playing it with my hands, or singing it with my voice, nothing speaks to my soul like a good song. I love to be outdoors, to feel the sun on my skin, the soil under my feet, the wind in my face, the smell of the trees, to watch Him paint the sky; nothing makes me feel closer to my King than to marvel at His creation.
I am in the process of letting go of who I am and becoming who the Lord wants me to be, letting go of my plans for my future, and trusting in His plan. I have learned it is good to be broken and stretched; that is how we grow. I am realizing that my self-worth is not held in the eyes and opinions of others, but only in the eyes of my King, for He makes everything beautiful in its time. He is teaching me to love sincerely, for if I have faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. I am learning what peace comes along with forgiveness, because the Sovereign Lord is my strength. He makes my feet like the feet of the deer and He enables me to go on to the heights. I am trying to be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. I struggle every day, but I am trying my hardest to live for the Lord and I pray that I am a living reflection of Him and that His glorious love shines through me.

This is so amazing. I am so glad I read this.. You have been an inspiration to me today. I became a Christian when I was 16 and my life has changed in the most amazing ways. Jesus Christ gave me a new life; His life and I am so thankful for it every day. He has filled me up with love, acceptance and compassion. I am so thankful that I read this. It’s so awesome to see a fellow believer so passionate about the same God that rescued me from myself. Thank You, Lord!!!
